Obverse : Above is the small coat of arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription ???????????? ???? ??????? (National Bank of Ukraine) and the indication of the year of issue of the coin 2013 (below right); against the background of the House with Chimeras there is a portrait with the inscription in the form of an arch below ?.??????????? (V.Horodetskyi); On the left are the years of life of the architect 1863-1930; Above them is the face value of the coin: 5 ??????? (5 hryvnias) on the German silver coin (together with the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine).
Reverse : against the background of the House with contours of Chimeras there is a fragment of a sculptural composition in relief that embellishes the facade of the House; On the left is the architect's facsimile signature (vertically); On the right is the semicircular inscription ??????? ? ???????? (house with chimeras).
The commemorative coin is dedicated to a building designed at the beginning of the 20th century by a prominent architect, engineer, traveler and businessman Vladyslav Horodetskyi, whose 150th birth anniversary it also commemorates. Unusual in artistic design and new in style, the house features sculptures in the form of mythical creatures and hunting scenes.
