100 years after the first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's largest endurance race celebrates 100 years of excitement, speed and performance. To commemorate this centenary, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to this legendary competition by creating a completely new trophy for the occasion and minting a collection of gold and silver coins.
This €10 silver coin commemorates the 100th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a relay between the 1923 edition and the 2023 edition.
The winning vehicle of the first edition of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest endurance grand prix, a CHENARD & WALCKER, is here in front of a figure of the modern automobile, entering on the track for the 24H of Le Mans.
