Description:
This coin celebrates the 30th anniversary of the adoption of a historic document, the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, by the Ukrainian parliament. This milestone occurred on August 24, 1991. On several occasions, the Ukrainian people fought for their right to have their own national state, language and culture. Today, Ukraine is represented as an independent state on world maps. The independence of Ukraine is based on the historical memory, traditions and spiritual and cultural heritage of the people.
Obverse : a composition symbolizing Ukraine - the small coat of arms of Ukraine above and against the extensive picturesque fields depicted as stylized ornaments with storks, which are one of the symbols of Ukraine; the leyends: ??????? (Ukraine) (the semicircular legend on the right), 2021 (on the left of the coat of arms), nominal value of the coin 5 ??????? (5/hryvnia) (the semicircular legend below); the mint mark of the NBU banknote printing and minting works (on the right).
Reverse : a colored embroidered band (pad printing) symbolizing the nation's code and resembling a DNA chain carrying genetic information that ensures the preservation, transmission and reproduction of information; and the semicircular legends that say: 30 ????? (30 years old) (top left on matte background) ???????????? ??????? (of the independence of Ukraine) (on the right on the plain background).
