The
commemorative coin is dedicated to the centenary of the execution of the
loop-the-loop acrobatic maneuver also known as loop
Nesterov. For the first time, the maneuver was carried out on August 27,
1913 by Pyotr Nesterov in the sky over kyiv (military airfield of
Syrets) before the eyes of numerous spectators. The event became
de facto in the beginning of aerobatics and in a contribution
substantial to the development of aviation.
Obverse there is:
the semicircular inscription ???????????? ???? ??????? (National Bank
of Ukraine) (above) with the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine at the
left; in the center, on the background of the decorative map box
soldier with the flight plan, the portrait of Pyotr Nesterov and the
indication of the year of issue of the coin 2013 on its right; below -
the face value of the coin 5 ??????? (5 hryvnias) and the mark of the
National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
Reverse se
represents a conventionalized composition of the interpretation of the
famous Nesterov loop on a Nieuport monoplane; in the middle, the
inscription ????? / 1913 / ??? / ???? / ????????? (loop / 1913 / year /
Kyiv / Nesterov); Below are the spectators
