commemorative coin is dedicated to a string-strumming instrument,
well-known in Ukraine: tsymbaly (variety of hammered dulcimer) which
It consists of a trapezoidal wooden frame with metal ropes, which are
play with two beaters (sticks or hammers) against the strings. The
tsymbaly (pl.) They have a wide musical palette and are used by
popular instrumental ensembles (for example, troisti muzyky - a
sort of three-instrument consort; troisti = triple). |
