The third German 5 euro coin, from the Climatic Zones series, in which the polymer is used as part of it, dedicated to the Temperate Zone and corresponding to 2019, it has a design that has was unveiled today, August 29, by the Ministry of Finance German. This will be the third piece of the five that make up the series and that are issued between the years 2017 to 2021 (one per year). The one from 2019 It will have the plastic and translucent ring in green, in addition each one of the five German mints will give a different tone to that color.



The design corresponds to the artist Peter Lasch on the reverse. The obverse, common to the entire series, was designed by the artist Stefanie Radtke.

Reverse sample a characteristic landscape of the temperate zones representing a stylized image of cultivated land. The hare shown in the center of the coin is a typical representative of the open places of these areas. The change of seasons of this climatic zone is displayed in the branches and the falling oak leaf, these silhouettes describe the landscape of the deciduous forest that dominates the area.



Obverse HE shows an eagle, the word “Federal Republic of Germany”, the value “5 euro” facial, the year 2019, the twelve European stars and, depending on the mint, the mint mark “A” (Berlin), “D” (Munich), “F” (Stuttgart), “G” (Karlsruhe) or “J” (Hamburg).

The smooth edge of the coin contains the inscription, in German, "climatic zones of the earth."
