The commemorative coin is dedicated to the centenary of the PI Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, which is a leading center of music education not only in Ukraine, but also around the world. Such outstanding composers as Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Taneyev, Sergei Rachmaninoff participated in the founding of the establishment. Over the century of its activities, the Academy, which is the successor of the kyiv PI Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, has trained many outstanding teachers of national and world culture.
