2 euro coin from SPAIN 2014 in commemoration of Park Guell located in Barcelona
During 2014, a
2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to Park Güell (Barcelona),
space created by the Architect Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century.
On the obverse, in the foreground, an image of the sculpture is shown
which represents a huge lizard, the best-known symbol of the Park
Güell; In the background a detail of one of the two is shown
entrance pavilions to the enclosure.
This is already the fifth coin in the annual series dedicated to the sites in
Spain included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
