Sanssouci is
the name of a group of buildings and gardens that include the
former official summer palace of Frederick II the Great, king
of Prussia, in Potsdam, near Berlin. This is one of the works
peaks of the Rococo style, and is also notable for the
numerous temples and pavilions scattered throughout the park that surrounds the
set.
