The coin's design shows a female face within an envelope of endless moving lines. These lines are made up of female names in the Catalan language very close together, which makes them difficult to read individually, as a tribute to the solidarity of women in the fight for their rights.
The inscriptions «50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENÍ (50 years of Universal Women's Suffrage) and «ANDORRA 1970 – 2020» complete the design. These inscriptions are also incorporated into the movement of the lines, to give more importance to the anniversary being commemorated.
