The iconic little blue goblins, The Smurfs made their first appearance on Johan & Pirlouit's album "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute", created by Peyo in 1958.
Since then, those blue characters, dressed in white pants and hats, have been living many adventures in multiple albums.
In 2020, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to the comic and Peyo's work, but also to hundreds of iconic characters, all very similar, but so different in nature.
Brainy is the only Smurf who always takes everything seriously. He is always teaching a lesson to others.
