The Hald Dollar coin features on the reverse a depiction of the famous "Buzz Aldrin on the Moon" photograph, taken on July 20, 1969, showing what was reflected in the visor of astronaut Buzz Aldrin's helmet: astronaut Neil Armstrong, the United States flag and the lunar lander.
The inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "the face value", and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (Of many, one). The obverse features the inscriptions "MERCURY", "GEMINI" and "APOLLO", separated by phases of the Moon, and a footprint on the lunar surface.
Additional inscriptions are “2019”, “EN DIOS CONFIAMOS” (In God we trust)” and “LIBERTAD”.
On the reverse of the 10 euro coin, an image of the Moon and above it appears the Command Module attached to the Module that landed on the surface of the satellite.
On the left, the Ceca mark and, below, an image of the antenna that, from Spain, provided support for this historic flight.
To the right 10 EURO. On the outside of the coin, the legend 50TH ANNIVERSARY ARRIVAL TO THE MOON and, in the upper left part, a dot and the dates 1969-2019.
On the obverse the effigy of King Don Felipe VI.
