What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):
The 1999 P Susan B. Anthony (SBA) dollars were the first dollar coins produced since the 1981 dollar. Due to the increasing demand for small dollar coins on public transportation, banks began to run out of these coins for the first time. time and the US Mint was asked to replenish supplies of small dollar coins. Since the US Mint did not have the authority to change the design, they stuck with Susan B. Anthony's original design until 2000, when the Sacagawea dollar design was authorized for production.
