Obverse of both coins, set in a wreath of images of certain species of flora and fauna, there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: on the silver coin - ???????????? / ???? / ??????? / 10 / ??????? / 2006 (National Bank of Ukraine, 10 hryvnias, 2006); there is the indication of the metal and its fineness - Ag 925, weight in fineness - 31.1 g; on German silver coin - ???????????? / ???? / ??????? / 2 / ?????? / 2006 (National Bank of Ukraine, 2 hryvnias, 2006). The logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint is placed on both coins.
