2 euros ANDORRA 2017 - Anthem of Andorra

The design shows a reproduction partial of the anthem of Andorra, published in 1914; the central part plays the first notes of the hymn and, around it, a floral decoration and the inscription “Himne Andorrà” (Hymn of Andorra). At the top of the design are the year of issue, "2017", and the inscription «100 anys de l'himne d'Andorra» (100 years of the anthem of Andorra).

Andorran anthem

The Great Carlemany (in Spanish: El Gran Carlomagno) is the national anthem of Andorra.
It was written by Joan Benlloch i Vivó and composed by Enric Marfany Bons. It was adopted as the national anthem in 1921.
