This coin celebrates the tiger, one of the animals of the Eastern 12-year calendar.
Obverse : Above is the small coat of arms of Ukraine, to the right of which is the semicircular legend ??????? (Ukraine); on a plain background, the 12 symbols of the eastern calendar represented around a circle; in the center of the circle is a stylized clock with a hand pointing to the tiger, the symbol of 2022; Below the hand is the legend 2022; Below, on the left, is the semicircular legend 5 ??????? (5 hryvnias); On a matte background are the symbols of each season that were stylized to resemble a Ukrainian ornament: a snowflake (above), a flower (on the right), a berry (below) and a leaf (on the left); The mint mark of the NBU banknote minting and printing works is to the left of the rabbit symbol.
Reverse : there is a stylized image of a tiger, the symbol of 2022 according to the eastern calendar; The tiger is surrounded by stylized symbols of each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), and tree branches (top left) .
