10 euros SPAIN 2021 - Salvador Dalí
The Royal Mint issues a series of collectible coins in tribute to Salvador Dalí.
On the obverse of this piece, with a meter of 8 reales, a portrait of Salvador Dalí, the work of photographer Melitó Casals, is reproduced; To his right, at the top, Dalí's signature.
In the background there appears an allegory to the work of Salvador Dalí called "The disintegration of the persistence of memory." A graphic composed of a path of ants surrounds the motifs and legends.
On the back a detail of the painting “Galatea de las Esferas” is reproduced, a work by Salvador Dalí that is preserved in the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres.
The work shows a bust of Gala composed of a matrix of spheres apparently suspended in space. A graphic composed of a path of ants surrounds the motifs and legends.
