This series, broadcast in 2010 , is dedicated to the Historic Center of
Córdoba , and specifically, to the Cathedral Mosque of Córdoba .
The fourth issue of the 2 euro coin shows an image on its reverse
from the interior of the Mosque Cathedral of Córdoba , one of the oldest
and best examples of Islamic art in Europe.
