2 euro coin of SPAIN 2018 in commemoration of the 50th birthday of King Felipe VI
The coins, which
will be minted on behalf of the State, they will be delivered to the Bank of Spain so that
make them available to the public. For this there will be collaboration
of credit institutions, which may submit their requests to the FNMT.
On the back of the
coin will reproduce the shield in color of King Felipe and, on the left,
a royal crown, the figure 50 and the numeral 18 will appear. Below will appear the
value of the piece (30 euros) and at the bottom, in a circular direction and in
capital letters, the legend '50th anniversary of HM The King'. Just like in the
obverse, the motifs and legends on the reverse of this coin will be surrounded by
a graph of pearls.
On the front of this
collectible coin the effigy of King Felipe VI will appear, with the legend
'Philip VI King of Spain' in capital letters and the year of coinage (2018). The
Motifs and legends will be surrounded by a pearl graphic.
Likewise, on the obverse
of the coin will reproduce the king's coat of arms, while the reverse
It will be the common one used in all 2 euro coins. This is the second
coin that was made on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of King Felipe VI .
The currency for
commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the king's birth, minted in
copper, nickel and brass, will have a diameter of 25.75 millimeters and a weight of 8.5
grams, and a circulation of 400,000 pieces will be issued.
