Joint broadcast tribute to Cervantes and Shakespeare
On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the deaths of William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes, the FNMT Real Casa de la Moneda, in collaboration with the British Royal Mint, has prepared two commemorative sets. Each case contains two coins, a Spanish coin, dedicated to Cervantes, and another British one, dedicated to Shakespeare.
The collection of silver coins includes the Cervantes 10 euro commemorative coin, which was issued last June, plus a British coin, with a face of 2 pounds sterling, weight of 31.21 grams and diameter of 38.61 mm. The maximum quantity of this collection is limited to 250 units
